Training at UTI is divided amongst several different career tracks, each of which also comprises a number of specialties intended to help students find their particular niche.  The Collision Repair and Refinish Technology Training Program is designed to offer students the type of hands-on training that is required to excel in this particular automotive repair field.  All participants in the program are given access to state of the art equipment and tools and are trained by experienced professionals with decades of experience in the art of collision repair.

The Collision Repair and Refinish Technology Training Program lasts 51 weeks, and it includes NATEF / ASE certification credits as well as DuPont Refinishing and I-CAR credentials – each of which are highly prized by employers of choice across the industry.  At the end of their stay with UTI, technicians will be able to handle any type of automotive body work, factory or custom paint job, frame alignment, and welding task related to collision repair.  In addition to technical know-how, a number of important business skills will also be taught to all participants to help them navigate through the automotive industry.  Graduating students are also given a Snap-On tool kit upon completing the program.

UTI also comes through for graduates once they have completed their studies, offering services that work closely with employers searching for trained technicians.  On-campus interviewing, job postings, and special tuition reimbursement programs serve as incentives to keep the institute connected to the heart of the industry.
